Since catching the attention of Heavenly Recordings last year, French multi-instrumentalist HALO MAUD is gearing up to release her stunning debut EP for the first time on British soil. 'Du Pouvoir/Power' is the second track to be given the single treatment following her stunning psych-tinged debut single 'Baptism', which we covered back in October. 'Du Pouviour/Power' is an easy-going slice of whimsical pop with a distinctively French air of sophistication. Channelling her peers Melody's Echo Chamber and Aquaserge with 'Du Pouvoir/Power''s unashamedly groovy bass line and 70s rock-inspired drums combined with Dirty Projectors-esque otherworldly backing vocals, HALO MAUD has created something truly magical here.
